My Favourite Things

An absolute gem. This is one of the best party games there is
— Jon Purkis, Actualol
It’s a game we’ve played again and again and again and enjoyed every time
— Elaine and Efka, No Pun Included

Originally published in 2015, Eye My Favourite Things quickly garnered critical praise as an innovative hybrid game that combined party-game elements with simple trick-taking mechanisms. Relatively few copies have made it out of Japan, and the last time it was available to buy in Europe was at Essen 2018, where it sold out almost instantly.

In the game, you will present your neighbours with a category and ask them to write their five favourite (and one least favourite) things in that category on their cards. You’ll then use these cards to play a trick-taking game, not knowing the true value of any cards until the end of each trick. Because everyone is playing with someone else’s favourite things, each trick will provoke unique and interesting conversations - does Paul like Power Rangers more than Anthony likes Banana Milkshake or Archie likes Italian Disco? These are the judgement calls you’ll need to make in My Favourite Things.

Following the success of their first game - Overstocked, Play For Keeps will be launching a Kickstarter campaign for My Favourite Things later this year. This new English-language edition features new artwork, and deluxe components designed to improve usability.
